There are tons of Rice Recipes, such as Biryani, Jeera Rice, Steamed Rice or say Vegetable Pulao.

This video will provide the step by step method of making Vegetable Pulao also known as Veg. Pulao. Some can tell it Fried Rice but lots of vegetables in it makes it Vegetable Pulao.

I used so many Sabzi (vegetables) for this Pulav recipe. This rice with assorted vegetables makes it a very healthy recipe as well tastes very good.

Ingredients:
1 cup Long grained rice/ Basmati rice soaked
1 big size Chopped Onion
1 medium sized chopped Tomato
1 medium carrot peeled and diced
6-7 french beans cut into ½ inch pieces
1/2 Cup Chopped Cauliflower Florets
¼ cup Green Peas
½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste
½ tsp Cumin seed
2 Bay leaves
2-3 Pieces of Cloves
½ inch Cinnamon stick
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
1 tsp Pav Bhaji masala
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Ghee
1 tbsp oil

How to Make:
1. Wash and soak basmati rice in enough water for 15 mins. Drain water after 15 minutes and keep aside until needed.
2. Heat ghee and oil both together in a pressure cooker on medium flame.
3. Add cumin seed, cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaves and sauté for 30 seconds.
4. When the spices begin to sizzle add sliced onion and sauté for a minute on medium flame.
5. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté well until the raw smell of ginger-garlic disappears.
6. Add all the vegetables chopped tomato, French beans, carrot, cauliflower, peas and stir-fry them for 2 minutes.
