Ingredients for channa masala-White channa-1 and 1/2 cup
Wash the channa and soak with 1/2 tsp of soda bi carb
Boiling-
Water-3 to 4 cups
Tej patta-2
Dalchini (cinnamon stick) -1
Black elachi (cardamom) whole-2
Green elachi whole-3
Salt-1/2 tsp
Teabag-1
Onion- 1 medium size
Tadka-
Adrak (ginger fresh)-2 inch piece
Hari mirch(green chilli)-2
Hara dhania (green coriander leaves)
Tomatoes-3 medium size
Oil-3 tbsps
Sabut jeera (cumin )-3/4 tsp
Dhania powder(coriander powder)-2 tsp
Anardana powder (dry Pomegranate powder)-1 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli-3/4 tsp
Bhuna black jeera powder-1/2 tsp
Black salt-1/2 tsp
White salt-1/2 tsp or according to your taste
Kasuri methi-1 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Chat masala -1/2 tsp
Green coriander leaves- a handful
Ginger julienne for garnishing.
