Ingredients for Jau Dalia Pulao
Barley Broken Wheat - जौ का दलिया - 1/2 Cup (90 grams)
Desi Ghee - घी - 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - जीरा - 1/2 tsp
Peas - मटर - 1/2 Cup
Carrot - गाजर - 1/4 Cup, chopped
Cauliflower - फूलगोभी - 1/4 Cup, chopped
Capsicum - शिमलामिर्च - 1/4 Cup, chopped
Ginger - अदरक - 1 tsp, grated
Green Chilli - हरी मिर्च - 1, finely chopped
Tomato - टमाटर - 1, chopped
Salt - नमक - 1/2 tsp

How to prepare Jau daliya pulao?
1. Dry roast 1/2 cup of Jau Daliya over medium flame till the color changes.
2. Within 4 minutes, you will get nicely roasted and fragrant daliya.
3. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in the cooker.
4. Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 cup of peas, 1/4 cup of chopped carrots, 1/4 cup of chopped cauliflower, 1/4 cup of chopped capsicum, 1 tsp of grated ginger, 1-green chili chopped finely, and saute everything briefly.
5. Add roasted daliya and roast everything for 1/2 more minutes.
6. Add 1-chopped tomato and mix.
7. Add 1.5 cups of water, 1/2 tsp of salt to the pulao and mix well.
8. Pressure cook the daliya pulao for a whistle.
9. After a whistle, open the lid and leave the pulao for 10 minutes.
10. Jau daliya pulao is ready to be served.
