All that is needed is soak the Black beans overnight in water. Drain and add 3 cups of water to 1 cup. Pressure cook till done adding saa add lt and turmeric.Black Beans Masala Ingredients:Boiled Black beans - 1 cupOnions - 1 mediumGreen chillies - 1 or 2Ginger - 1 inch pieceTomato paste - cup or blend 6 or 7 tomatoes in mixiCumin seeds - 1 tspTurmeric powder- tspCoriander powder - 1 tbspCumin powder - tbspKashmiri chilli powder - 1 tspKitchen king Masala or garam masala - 1 tbspGhee - 1 tbspOil - few tbspSalt to tasteCoriander leaves to garnish Method:Chop the onions, green chillies and ginger finely and keep asideKeep ready half a cup of tomato paste or grind 6/7 tomatoes to a pulpHeat few tbsp of oil and add the cumin seedsAllow the Cumin seeds to turn colour and add the finely chopped onions, green chillies and gingerStir fry everything together till light golden in colour - can add a bit of salt to facilitate goldening Now add tomato paste and start cooking everything together adding some waterNow add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, kashmiri chilli powder and saute together over low flameAllow everything cook together homogeneous till oil separatesIts now time to add the boiled Black beansAdd salt to taste and add boiling water to adjust consistencyCover and cook over medium flame for 5 minutesMeanwhile heat some ghee in a small panAdd the Kitchen King Masala into it and switch off flaneOpen the Black Beans Masala and add the sizzling tempering to itGarnish with fresh coriander leavesClose tightly everything for a few minutes for the aromas to infuseOpen and savour the delightful Black Beans Masala with rotis or naans or kulchas or parathashttps://sujankitchen.wordpress.com/2023/04/21/black-beans-masala-karamani-masala/
