The classic Delhi chaat for a delicious evening snack.CHATPATA ALOO CHAATIngredients2 medium potatoes, parboiled, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes1 large sweet potato, parboiled, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubesOil to deep fryBlack salt to taste1 tsp chaat masala1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)Salt to taste1 tsp red chilli powder3 tbsps sweetened yogurt4 tbsps date and tamarind chutney2 tbsps green chutneyΒΌ small cabbage, shredded1 small beetroot, peeled and cut into thin strips2 tbsps chopped fresh corianderMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the potatoes and sweet potatoes separately. Drain on absorbent paper.2. Transfer the fried potatoes on a plate, sprinkle black salt, chaat masala, amchur and salt, red chilli powder and set aside.3. Transfer on a serving plate and drizzle yogurt, date and tamarind chutney and green chutney. 4. Sprinkle the cabbage, beetroot and coriander on top. Serve immediately.
