These Stir-fried potatoes with green chili and tamarind give a very unique flavor and can be served as a delicious appetizer or you can serve them as a side dish with CHATPATA MASALA ALOO Ingredients16-20 baby potatoes (aloo), boiled and peeled 10-12 kokum pieces, soaked10-15 garlic clovesOil for shallow-frying1 teaspoon mustard seedsA pinch of asafoetdia10-15 curry leavesSalt to taste1 tablespoon red chilli powderFresh coriander leaves for garnishingMethod1. Put 10-12 kokum pieces in a mixer jar and grind into a paste. 2. Grind 10-15 garlic cloves in a (?)3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and crushed garlic.
