Chicken cooked creole style and served with riceCHICKEN A LA CREOLEIngredients2 boneless chicken breasts½ inch raw turmeric piece4 inch lemon grass root1 inch ginger5-6 garlic cloves5-6 bimbli3-4 green chillies1 small onion, gratedSalt to taste½ tsp black pepper powder2 tbsps olive oil2 cups cooked riceMethod1. Grind together raw turmeric, lemon grass root, ginger, garlic, bimbli and green chillies to a fine paste. Put into a bowl, add grated onion and mix well.2. Place chicken pieces in a plate, sprinkle some salt and black pepper powder over them. 3. Add the paste and mix well and set aside to marinate for 8 hours. 4. Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add the chicken pieces and cook turning sides, till both sides are equally done and crisp.5. Place a bowlful of rice on a plate, place the chicken by its side.
