Chicken Bread Pakora | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Bread slices sandwiched with spicy chicken mince mixture dipped into gram flour batter and deep fried.

CHICKEN BREAD PAKORA

Ingredients

1 cup chicken mince
8 bread slices
½ cup gram flour
Oil for deep-frying
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon garammasala powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon soda bi carbonate

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Combine chicken, onion, chilli powder, garammasala powder, salt and chopped coriander in a bowl and mix well.
3. Put some chicken mixture on 4 bread slices, cover with remaining slices and cut diagonally.
4. Take gram flour in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder, soda bi carbonate and some water, whisk to make a smooth and thick batter.
5. Dip the bread piecesin the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot.

Preparation Time: 8-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
