Kurmura laddoos made with chocolate and dried fruits

CHOCOLATE RICE CRISPIES

Ingredients

4 cups puffed rice (kurmura)
¼ cup roasted and slivered almonds
¼ cup roasted and slivered pistachios
2 cups chopped milk chocolate
2 tbsps butter

Method

1. Heat a non-stick pan, add puffed rice and roast lightly.
2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
3. Add almonds and pistachios to the puffed rice and continue roasting for 2 minutes. Switch off heat and transfer the mixture into a large bowl.
4. When chocolate begins to melt, stir till smooth. Add butter and mix well.
5. Lightly grease small paper cups.
6. Add melted chocolate to puffed rice mixture and mix well gently. Put the mixture into the paper cups. Cool down to room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator.
7. Serve chilled.
