Rich and healthy rolls made with dates and mixed dry fruitsDATE AND NUT ROLLSIngredients12-16 dates, seeded½ cup almonds½ cup walnut kernels½ cup pistachios3 tablespoons raisins3 tablespoons dried apricotsPoppy seeds (khus khus) for coating Method1. Grind together almonds, walnuts and pistachios. Add raisins, apricots and dates and grind to a coarse mixture. 2. Transfer the mixture onto a butter paper. Roll to shape into a cylinder, tie the ends and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 3. Remove the paper and coat the roll with poppy seeds. 4. Slice and serve.
