GRILLED LAMB STEAKS WITH CHIMICHURRI:In this episode of Raised on the Ranch, Mary is preparing some lamb steaks, veggies, and chimichurri to grill on the perfect outdoor date night. "One of my favorite ways to prepare leg of lamb is to debone it, cutit into thick steaks in similar fashion to a tri-tip, and grill the steaks over a hotfire. The meat takes on the char and smoke of the grill, giving the outside a deeplybrowned, flavorful crust, while the center stays perfectly rosy and moist. Slice itthinly and top it with tangy chimichurri, and you cant go wrong. Chimichurri, a boldherby green sauce, is one of my go-tos because its not only delicious, its a breezeto whip together and uses ingredients you likely already have on hand. Terrific onsteaks, veggies, eggs, or almost any favorite dish, the chimichurri tastes even betterafter its been in the fridge for a few days.A semi-boneless leg of lamb has the lamb shank removed, and the hip bone and hinge end of the shank bone removed, leaving the butt end. Theres still a bone in there though, which is ideal to have in place if you are making a whole roast leg of lamb as it will cook more quickly, plus the bone adds flavor, and you can gnaw on it or share with your favorite pup. For lamb steaks or a boneless lamb roast, youll want to remove the bone. But dont worry: its easy!" ~Mary HeffernanCHAPTERS: 00:00 - Introduction01:17 - Prep the Lamb Steaks03:33 - The Chimichurri05:06 - Prep Vegetables for Grill06:25 - Date Night at the SaddleGET THE RECIPE:Grilled Lamb Steaks with Chimichurri: https://f52.co/48rqHnXPRODUCTS FEATURED IN THIS VIDEO:Staub Enameled Cast Iron Skillet: https://f52.co/4avzR4rCrow Canyon Enamel Trays: https://f52.co/3NB9EYyMORE ABOUT RAISED ON THE RANCH:Welcome to Five Mary Farm, a Northern California ranch where Mary Heffernan and her husband Brian raise the finest quality meats, with the help of their four daughters - each of whom are also named Mary.
