Spicy masala omelette cooked over bread slices and then tossed in butter, topped with chaat masala.A tasty dish of eggs cooked with masalas.EGG TAK-A-TAK Ingredients8 eggs, hardboiled and peeled2-3 tablespoons oil2 medium onions, finely chopped1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste¼ teaspoon turmeric powder½ teaspoon red chilli powder1 green chilli, finely chopped2 medium tomatoes, finely choppedSalt to taste2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.2. Halve eggs. 3. Add onions to the pan and sauté till browned. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and green chillies, mix, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes.4. Add tomatoes, salt and 1½ tablespoons coriander leaves, mix, cover and cook till the tomato turns soft. 5. Bring the mixture in the centre and place the egg halves all around, yolk side down. Break the eggs with the help of 1-2 flat spoons making a sound (tak-a-tak) and cook for 1-2 minutes.6. Add garam masala powder and remaining coriander leaves and mix well.7.
