I took the Green line to Tanjong Pagar MRT and arrived at Exit K where the Fraser Tower is. Go up the elevator and just walk straight. We arrived the Singapore First Robotic Restaurant. There are many resturants nearby. This looks like a normal caf. I cam at a weekday evening time. Lets take a look at the Singapore First Robotic Hawker Restaurant. This is the menu. Hokkien Mee, Hor Fun, Fried Rice, Mala Hotpot. To my surprise, the human is taking out orders. Press the bell and the ordering guy will be here to take your order. It is quite empty on a weekday evening. The cooking robot are hidden inside the room. When the orders are ready, the guy will deliver the food to your table. Hawkee has a total of 10 robo-chefs, all assembled and engineered locally, and uses one for every dish. Can you believe that this Hokkien Mee is cooked by robot? This plate costs $6. It is very warm, tastes like home cooked hokkien mee, abit bland, It is a bit sticky and doesn not contain any pork. The chilli is spicy and nice but it will be better if they can warm it up. As both the lime and chilli is cold, maybe they have just taken out from the fridge. The portion is quite big too. I came back in another evening and ordered the Seafood Horfun. The looks is is so dark. But it is tasty and the horfun is very soft. The prawn and squid are fresh. This plate costs $7.90. Hawkee is open from 11am to 8pm from Monday to Friday and 11am to 2.30pm on Saturday, and is closed on Sundays. Hope you enjoy my video.
