Five Marys' Ultimate Comfort Food: Cowboy Chili Mac 'n Cheese

COWBOY CHILI MAC:
In Season 1, Episode 5 of Food52s Raised on The Ranch, we are in the camp kitchen making one of Five Marys Burger House's signature dishes: Cowbow Chili Mac 'n Cheese. This is such a comforting crowd pleaser and it comes together with ease- as Mary says, you may need a nap after a bowl of this!

"Chili plus mac and cheese is a match made in heaven. If you manage to have leftover chili (it doesnt happen often at our house!) this is a great solution to create a second satisfying meal that will disappear fast. My girls love it so much that sometimes I just make a double batch of chili so we are sure to have enough for this. Of course, this mac and cheese is a classic crowd-pleaser on its own. You can even stir some sauted mushrooms, peas, or blanched broccoli or cauliflower florets into the mac and cheese before baking for a veggie-full variation." ~Mary Heffernan
