Fish fillets marinated with spicy green masala, coated with semolina and rice flour mixture, shallow fried to make this perfect starter.GREEN MASALA BOMBIL (BOMBAY DUCK) FRYIngredients 8 pieces fish fillet3 tablespoons coriander paste2 tablespoons mint paste 1 ½ tablespoons ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon green chilli paste ¼ teaspoon turmeric (haldi) powder½ teaspoon garam masala2 teaspoons coriander powder1 teaspoon cumin (jeera) powderSalt to taste1 teaspoon chaat masalaJuice of 1 lemon1 cup semolina (rawa/suji)¾ cup rice flour 1 tablespoon coriander, chopped Oil for shallow frying Method1. To prepared the fish marinade a bowl add coriander paste, mint paste, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, chaat masala and lime juice. Mix everything together well. 2. Add the fish fillets to the prepared marinade, coat it well and set aside to refrigerate for 30 minutes. 3. In a separate plate, mix semolina, rice flour, salt and coriander. Mix well. 4. Coat the marinated fish well with the semolina mix.5. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan to shallow fry. 6. Shallow fry the fish fillets till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper. 7. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with thin onion rings, lemon wedges, cherry tomatoes and mint leaves.
