Yummy laddoos prepared using green moong and sweetened with jaggery.
GREEN MOONG LADDOO

Ingredients

1 cup whole green gram (sabut moong)
1 cup chopped jaggery
¼ cup ghee
¼ cup mixed nuts powder
¼ tsp green cardamom powder


Method

1. Dry roast whole green gram for 8-10 minutes on medium heat. Transfer on a plate and set aside to cool to room temperature.
2. Heat jaggery and 2 tbsps water in non-stick pan. Cook till the jaggery melts. Set aside to cool.
3. Transfer the roasted whole green gram in a blender jar and blend to a fine powder.
4. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add the blended powder and sauté till golden brown. Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool to room temperature. Add mixed nuts powder, green cardamom powder and the cooled jaggery syrup and mix well.
5. Take small portions of the mixture and shape each portion into a ball.
6. Serve.
