Please get over this and enjoy the recipe :)#HaleemRecipe #Haleem #DaleemRecipe Ingredients:1 cup Porridge½ cup Split chickpeas (Soaked)¼ cup Split green gram (Soaked)¼ cup Split red lentil (Soaked)¼ cup Rice (Soaked)½ cup White Lentil (Soaked)¼ cup Barely (Soaked)Water as required2 tsp Turmeric1 cup Oil1 large Onion1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste½ kg Beef3 tbsp Red chili powder2 tbsp Coriander powderSalt to taste 1 cup Yogurt2-3 tbsp Garam masala¼ tsp NutmegFor Tarka:1 cup Oil1 large OnionDirections:- Soak porridge, split chickpeas, split green gram, split red lentil, rice, white lentil, barely overnight.- In a pan add all these and water and turmeric. Mix well. Bring it to boil, skin off the foam and the cover the lid and cook until all get tender. Then blend it well.- In another pan heat the oil add onion, fry until golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste. Cook for a minute. Then add beef, cook for 3-4 minutes. (cover the lid and cook until it gets dry)- Then add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and cook for 3-4 minute, until oil separates, add yogurt mix it and cook for 2 minutes. Add water, cover the lid and cook until beef fully gets tender. Mash it well.- Add cooked beef in Daal mixture and stir continuously for 45-50 minutes.- Add garam masala, nutmeg and cook for 10 minutes.- For Tarka, in a pan heat oil and then add onion, fry until golden brown. Take out the fried onion and keep it aside. Pour oil on Daal mixture and cook for 20-25 minutes.- Serve with fried onion, ginger slices, green chili and chaat masala.Preparation time: 20 minutesCooking time: 2-3 hoursServing: 7-8
