FRESH BROAD (FAVA) BEAN FULL RECIPE Ingredients500 g fresh broad (fava) bean1 large onion2-3 sprigs of garlicThe juice of half a lemon3 cups water3 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp flour2 tsp salt1 tsp sugar5-6 sprigs of dill DirectionsPREPARATIONSet a large bowlSqueeze half a lemon into the bowlAdd 3 cups of water and 1 tbsp flour then whisk the mixture to combine the ingredients with each other; Set aside the lemon-water-flour mixtureWash the broad beans, sprigs of garlic, and dillUsing a knife, gently discard the strings and other hard pieces of the broad beansThen cut the beans into 3 or 4 cm piecesPlace the fresh broad beans into the lemon-water-flour mixture and set asidePeel and wash the onion; slice it into thin semi-circles.
