HIGH PROTEIN BREAKFAST MUFFINS - OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP

OATMEAL BREAKFAST MUFFINS but make them have protein

I found this simple recipe and it looked so tasty, I decided to add in a bit of protein powder so I can keep hitting those macro goals!

Ingredients
3 cups organic oats
3 bananas
5 tbsp date syrup (or honey)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Chips
1-2 scoops protein powder (optional)

How to make these:
Preheat your oven to 350.
.
In a large mixing bowl add in your dry ingredients.
.
Then take a separate mixing bowl, and mash together the bananas and mix with the rest of the wet ingredients.
.
Take that bowl and pour into the oat mix then begin to fold it into the mix.
.
Add in 1 cup of water and continue to mix. *If it becomes too dry, you may need to add a little more.
.
Distribute the muffins into the muffin pan and cook for 20 minutes.
.
Remove from the oven to let cool and enjoy throughout the week!
