How is Yam Ring made at this Zi Char stall? Kian Hock Restaurant () Golden Mile Food Centre

Having taken over from his father who started the business as a street peddler in 1950s, 71-year-old Mr Ho has been running the stall since 1964.

One will be amazed by the wide selection of dishes offered - more than 100! Most of the dishes are Hokkien-style, like Promfret Yam Soup and Deep Fried Liver, while a few are Hokkien-Canton fusions. Proud of the recipe passed down from his father, passionate Mr Ho prepares his Prawn Rolls and Yam Ring from scratch.

If you find the menu daunting, not to worry, the humble and friendly Ho sisters, who work alongside Mr Ho, will be glad to recommend dishes that suit your tastebuds.
