Why miss out on the good things in life then?JAIN RAGDA PATTIESIngredients2 tbsps oil1 tsp cumin seeds1-2 green chillies, chopped½ cup crushed green peas2 tbsps scraped coconut 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnishSalt to taste½ tsp lemon juiceA pinch of sugar1 tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander 2 raw banana, boiled and grated ½ tsp red chilli powderGreen chutney for garnishDate and tamarind chutney1 medium tomato, chopped2 tbsps nylon sevA pinch of chaat masalaMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick, add ½ teaspoon cumin seeds. let them change colour, add green chillies, crushed green peas sauté for a 2-3 minutes.2. Add coconut, fresh coriander leaves, salt, lemon juice, sugar and mix well. Transfer the mixture in a bowl.3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add remaining cumin seeds. let them change colour, add cooked white chana, ½ cup water, ½ teaspoon Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, salt, mix and add coriander, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.4. Take raw banana in a bowl, add salt, remaining Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, red chilli powder and mix well.5. Divide the raw banana mixture into equal portion, make a cavity in centre and stuff the coconut mixture and seat the edges and shape it into patties.6. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add prepared patties and shallow fry till golden brown and crispy. Drain on an absorbent paper.7. Transfer the patties on a serving plate and break it into half, pour some cooked ragda on top and drizzle some green chutney, dates and tamarind chutney, tomatoes, nylon sev, fresh coriander leaves, and sprinkle chaat masala.8.
