Kadai Chicken By Seema | India Food Network

Ingredients
900g of chicken cut into pieces
2 tomatoes pureed
2 onions, chopped
2 tbsp of oil and ghee mixed
2 tbsp of coriander leaves, finely chopped
2 green chillies
2 tomatoes, chopped
Coarsely grounded dry masala -- 3 tbsp of jeera seeds (cumin seeds), 8-10 peppercorns, 3 tbsp of coriander seeds
3 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp of haldi (turmeric powder)
1 tsp of chilli powder
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of garam masala
2-3 bay leaves
1 -- 1½ cups of water to adjust gravy

Method of preparation
Heat mixed ghee in a kadai, add onions, bay Leaf, fry till the onions are golden brown
Add ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, half of the garam masala powder half coarsely grounded dry masala give it a good mix
Add chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, coriander leaves, green chilli, chicken pieces give it a good mix, add water and cover it with a lid and let it cook for about 20 to 25 mins
lastly, add the remaining ground masala and garam masala, ginger pieces in the Kadai handful of Capsicum and coriander leaves, Serve hot with Rice or Roti Or Naan
