Today, we came to the Hatter Street Caf at Kovan. The nearest MRT is the KOVAN MRT (NORTHEAST). The address is 212 Hougang Street 21, #01-333, Singapore 530212. Opening hours 1-10.30pm. This caf is ideal for small group meetup and also enjoying cakes, coffee and the most attractive is Unicorn waffle!! The cakes are so cute! Oh so delicious! Hello, I am the Unicorn Waffle, made up of Lavender ice cream and toasted mushrooms. This waffle is so thick and crispy and it goes well with the ice cream. The lavender ice cream is like eating the lavender gel. Lets go to our next food surprise! Do you like Kway chap? kway chap (; gu zh), a Teochew dish of flat, broad rice sheets in a soup made with dark soy sauce, served with pig offal, braised duck meat, various kinds of beancurd, preserved salted vegetables, and braised hard-boiled eggs. Here we are at Yaowarat Thai Kway Chap at Kovan. This is the menu. We ordered the Signature Thai Kway Chap, the Deep Fried Pork Belly. Thai Fish Sausage, Thai Stirred Fried Vabbage, Braise Bean egg, Braised Tau Pok, rice and Thai Green milk Tea . You know what you can ask for free soup too.. This crispy pork belly costs $8. It is indeed crispy. This plate of fish sausage is my favourites. It tastes like the chinese sausage. Pick up the black one, costs its taste is more intense. This is the signature Kway chap at $5. You can taste the pork belly and also the Chinese sausage. It also has the pig intestine. This is quite pepperish, The thai Kway chap is curly unlike the traditional Kway chap which is flattened. This cabbage tastes like stirred fried Hor Fun. It has the wok hey taste. It will taste better if they can add on some shrimps. This is our lunch today. Sarwadeeka. We are going to start eating!
