Delicious puris made using leftover dal.LEFTOVER DAL PURIIngredients1½ cups whole wheat flour1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)½ cup leftover dalSalt to taste1½ tsps oil + to deep fryPotato subzi to serve Method1. Add whole wheat flour, carom seeds, leftover dal and salt in a bowl. Mix well. Add little water and knead to stiff dough. Add 1½ tsps oil and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.2. Divide the dough into equal portions. Apply oil on worktop and roll out each portion into medium sized thin discs.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, lower the discs and deep fry till puffed and crisp. Remove and drain in an absorbent paper.4.
