LEFTOVER RICE THALIPETHIngredients1½ cup leftover rice½ cup sorghum (jowar) flour½ cup whole wheat flour (atta) ½ cup finger millet (nachni) flour2 tbsps gram flour (besan)Salt to taste½ tsp red chilli powder1 tsp cumin powder1 tsp coriander powder¼ tsp turmeric powder1 small onion, chopped¾ cup chopped fresh fenugreek leaves (methi)Oil for drizzlingMethod1. Take rice in a bowl, add jowar flour, whole wheat flour nachni flour, besan, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, methi, onion and mix well.2. Add 1 cup water and form it into a soft dough. Take a tawa, add a portion of the dough, dip your fingers in water and spread it into a thick disc. Make holes in the center.3. Place the tawa on heat and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat, flip and cook for 2-3 minutes on other side or until golden.4. Serve hot with green chutney and white butter.
