Making Biaki (Easy Dessert)

Just when you thought corn couldnt get any better, it just did! This is Biaki, a Tausug specialty that uses very few ingredients but packs the best flavors of corn. We think that reusing the husk during the cooking process not only promotes sustainability, but also enhances the overall taste of this healthy snack! Have you tried this before?

BIAKI
Ingredients:
corn husk
5 whole corn (with husk)
2 cups flour
1- cups brown sugar
1- fresh shredded coconut

Procedure:
1. Remove the corn husk and set aside. Grate your corn finely and add flour, brown sugar, and shredded coconut.
2. Place cup of the mixture on a piece of corn husk and fold in half then fold in the sides. Place seam side down and steam for 18-20 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
