Freshly baked tarts stuffed with creamy mushroom mixture and cheese, baked till perfection.MUSHROOM TARTIngredients8-10 button mushrooms, cut into slices200 grams puff pastry doughRefined flour for dustingMilk for brushing1 tablespoon oil1 tablespoon chopped garlicSalt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to taste1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves Mozzarella cheese as requiredFresh thyme sprigs for garnishingMethod1. Preheat oven at 180ºC.2. Dust a worktop with some flour, place the dough on it and roll out to make a thin sheet. Cut the sheet into roundels using a medium size serrated cookie cutter.3. Put the roundels onto a baking tray and brush with some milk.Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till golden. Add mushrooms and sauté for a minute. 5. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, toss to mix and cook for a minute. Add thyme, mix and cook for 30 seconds.6. Fill the baked tarts with some cooked mushroom mixture and grate some mozzarella cheese on top. Place the baking tray again in preheated oven and bake for 3-5 minutes or till the cheese melts.7.
