Oats Mini Rotis | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

These mini roti are healthy and nutritious too since it is make with oats. Do try !

OATS MINI ROTIS

Ingredients

¾ cup coarsely ground oats
3-4 tablespoons whole wheat flour + for dusting
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chaat masala
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Ghee for basting

Method

1. Combine oats, whole wheat flour, salt, chaat masala, turmeric powder and chilli powder in a bowl and mix. Add onion, chopped coriander and mix well.
2. Add some warm water and knead into a semi soft dough. Cover with cling film and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
3. Heat a non-stick tawa.
4. Divide the dough into equal large portions.
5. Dust worktop with some flour and roll out each portion into a thick sheet. Cut into roundels using a small cookie cutter.
6. Roast each mini rotis on hot tawa from both sides on low heat till golden and crisp, basting with ghee.
7. Serve hot.
