Boiled penne pasta tossed with shredded spinach and sausages in cheesy sauce.

PASTA WITH SPINACH SAUSAGE AND CHEESE

Ingredients

2 cups boiled penne pasta
1 small bunch spinach
6 chicken sausages
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes + for sprinkling
Salt to taste
½ cup fresh cream
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese powder
Chopped fresh parsley for garnishing

Method

1. Cut sausages into ½ inch pieces.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and sauté.
3. Add spinach leaves and sauté for 1 minute. Add salt and mix. Add sausages pieces, mix and cook till golden brown.
4. Add pasta and toss. Add cream, salt and parmesan cheese powder, toss and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5. Garnish with parsley, sprinkle some chilli flakes on top and serve hot.
