PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

Ingredients

2 cups refined flour
1 cup (400 grams) Milkmaid
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon baking soda
75 ml pineapple juice
100 grams tinned pineapple, chopped
2 cups refined flour
2 tablespoon milk
½ cup brown sugar
4 tinned pineapple slice for garnish



Method

1. Preheat oven at 180°C.
2. Take Milkmaid in a bowl. Add butter, vanilla essence and whisk well.
3. Add baking soda and whisk well, add 75 ml pineapple juice, pineapple and whisk again.
4. Add refined flour into 4 part, little milk whisk well and Mix well into a smooth batter.
5. In a grease cake mould add brown sugar spread evenly, place pineapple slices and Pour batter into it and tap lightly.
6. Put the mould in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
7. Remove mould from oven and demould the cake. Set aside for ½ an hour.
8. Cut into slices, place on a serving platter and serve.
