IngredientsFor Iyengar Bakery Style Rava Cake1 cup fine semolina (rava / sooji)1/3 cup oil1/2 cup flavoured curds (dahi)1/2 tsp vanilla extract1 1/4 cups powdered sugar1 cup milk1/2 cup plain flour (maida)1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking sodaMethodFor iyengar bakery style rava cakeTo make the iyengar bakery style rava cake, in a deep bowl, add oil, curd, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, rava and milk.Whisk well and cover with a lid and keep aside for 20 minutes.Now add plain flour, baking powder and baking soda and whisk well.Pour the batter into a greased and lined tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 c (360f) for 30 to 35 minutes.Remove, demould and cool completely.
