Ingredients
1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
6-7 garlic cloves
6-7 shallots, peeled
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
¼ cup chutney dal/ roasted Bengal gram
¼ cup grated coconut
4 dried red chillies (Guntur/ byadgi)
4 Kashmiri dry red chillies
Salt to taste
A small piece of tamarind
Water

Method of preparation
Roast the ingredients, one by one, using oil.
Blend to a semi-smooth paste, using water as required.
Your red chutney is to ready to serve
