A popular dosai chutney, this red coconut chutney is a creamy and spicy condiment that is an all time favourite which looks unique!

RED COCONUT CHUTNEY

Ingredients

12 dried red chillies
½ cup scraped fresh coconut
1 small onion, chopped
4-5 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
2-3 dried mango slices (amchur), soaked for 10 minutes

Method

1. Coarsely grind together dried red chillies, coconut, onion, garlic cloves, salt and drained dried mango slices alongwith some water.
2. Use as required.
