Heat a non-stick pan. Add sugar, 1 cup water, oil and salt, mix and boil till the sugar melts. Remove from heat and set aside. 2. Add flour, mix and knead to a semi-stiff dough. Roll out into a large disc and cut out diamonds. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the diamonds on medium heat till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and cool. 4.
