Shiraae Mixed Tofu and Vegetables | Japanese Cooking Lovers by Yuri

I show you how to make ShiraAe the Japanese Tofu salad, monks food, shojin ryori, Vegan. You can use deep green vegetables for substitute of turnip leaves that I use here. It is autumn food if I use chrysanthemum leaves and persimmon​. You can create your own ingredients to make this food spring or summer food.

200g Turnip leaves (0.44lb)
1/3 Persimmon
2 Shiitake
2ts Sake
Pinch Salt
30g Walnuts (0.07lb)
300g Tofu (0.66lb)
1 TB Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
