Let's see how to boil sweet corn
Heat a pan
We can even use a cooker
Add 2 glasses water
Put a strainer or a bowl with holes in it
We will boil the sweet corn in this
That means we are steaming the sweet corn
Boiling the corn in water will remove the vitamins from the corn
This method will preserve the vitamins
After the water starts to boil put the sweet corn in the bowl
It will take 10-12 minutes for the corn to boil
Close lid
Open lid and check after 5 minutes
Stir and check if the sweet corn has cooked
Close lid and cook for some more time
This boiled sweet corn can be used for any recipes like masala corn, crispy corn, etc.

Let's see how to boil corn cobs directly
Remove the outer layers and all the hair on it
Break it in half if the corn is too big and doesnít fit in the bowl
Place these corn cobs on the bowl we put above the steam
Boil for 7-8 minutes
Move it into a plate after it boils
Boiling on steam means that we donít add salt to the corn. It can be consumed as it is.
But, salt and chilli powder with lemon could be spread on it for good taste
Mix a little salt, chilli powder and butter in a bowl.
Spread butter on the corn cob first
Sprinkle salt and chilli powder on it

To directly boil the sweet corn instead of steaming
Boil water in a bowl filled up to half
As water starts to boil add 1/2 teaspoon salt and corn cobs
Boil for 6-7 minutes
Check if itís been boiled
If not boil for 3-4 minutes
