TANDOORI CHICKEN CRESCENT RINGS

Ingredients

1 cup chopped tandoori chicken
Puff pastry dough as required
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
½ cup chopped mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons cream cheese
Refined flour for dusting
Beaten eggs as required
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Onion rings for serving
Lemon slices for serving

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with some butter.
2. Combine chicken, chopped coriander, salt, pepper powder, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in bowl and mix well.
3. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the puff pastry dough and roll out into a rectangular sheet. Cut the edges with a pizza cutter to even out.
4. Cut it into long triangles and arrange the triangles on the greased tray in a way that the small base of each overlaps another making a circle in the centre. Put the prepared chicken mixture on the overlapping end of the dough.
5. Apply some water on the tip of the triangles, bring inside to cover and seal. Brush with the beaten eggs. Put the train in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with onion rings and lemon slices.
