Let me show how you can always make a good Christmas Vanilla Cake at home. Given below are the ingredients and method for making Hot Milk Vanilla Cake.
Ingredients:
2 cups Maida (All purpose flour)
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Butter
3 Eggs (1/2 cup Curd to make Eggless Cake)
1 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Vanilla essence

Method: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Centigrade for 10 minutes. Grease and paper a 10 inch cake tin and keep aside. In a pan boil the milk. Once the milk starts boiling, remove from flame and add the butter. Stir till the butter has melted. Cool this mix to room temperature. In a bowl beat together the eggs and sugar till the sugar has melted completely and the mixture is frothy and pale. Put in vanilla essence and mix well. Combine the flour and the baking powder and baking soda. Add the flour little by little into the egg mixture and combine gently.Then pour the milk into the batter and mix till smooth. Finally, pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 50 minutes or till a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean.
