1. In a stockpot, heat up olive oil and lightly brown garlic and onion. (and red pepper flakes, if using them). 2. Add tomato sauce, salt, basil and parsley. 3. If using plum tomatoes, in stockpot, puree whole tomatoes with hand blender. 4. Simmer sauce for 5 minutes. 5. Cook noodles according to pkg. 6.
