7-Up Chocolate Chip Pound Cake


1. Cream butter with an electric mixer.

2. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4. Stir in flour and cocoa, blending thoroughly.

5. Stir in 7UP.

6. Fold in chocolate chips.

7. Spoon into a well greased 10-inch tube pan.

8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

9. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

10. Remove from pan, cool completely.
