1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat. 2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. While cooking break the beef into small pieces with a wooden spoon. 3. Reduce heat to medium and add mushrooms, onions and green pepper. Cook until the vegetables soften, about 5 minutes. 4. Stir in the tomatoes and tomato sauce. 5. Stir in all remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil. 6. Reduce heat to low, partially cover and simmer for 3 to 4 hours. 7.
