American Kitchen Classic Linguine With Red Clam Sauce


1. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

2. While the pasta cooks, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant, stirring occasionally. Add wine; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until reduced by half, stirring occasionally.

3. Add undrained tomatoes, clam juice, oregano and pepper to skillet; cook 10 to 12 minutes or until liquid has reduced by half. Remove skillet from heat; gently swirl in butter.

4. Add clams, prepared pasta and parsley; toss to coat pasta with sauce. Serve immediately.
