1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 3 baking sheets. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. 2. Place the brown sugar and butter in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer set on high speed until light and fluffy. 3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth. 4. Gradually stir in the flour mixture with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Stir in the oats and raisins until blended. 5. Drop the dough by rounded spoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. 6. Flatten the dough slightly with a fork. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes. 7. Cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks. 8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
