1. Peel, core and chop apples. 2. Stew in a pot with a little water and a sprinkling of sugar if necessary. 3. When cooked, pour into a pie dish. 4. Crumble: 5. Add flour in a bowl and rub in butter. 6. Add all other dry ingredients and mix well. 7. Pat onto top of apple and bake in a moderate oven for 40 minutes. 8.
