1. Combine 1st 9 ingredients in a large dutch oven over med-high, and bring to a boil. Add onion and beef and return to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour and 45 min, or until tender, stirring occasionally. 2. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board, reserving liquid in pan. Shred beef with two forks. Return shredded beef to pan; stir in hoisin. 3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 min or until most liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally. 4.
