1. Cut the cabbage in small strips (a food processor works great). 2. Coarsely grate the carrots. 3. Put water and vinegar in a saucepan and add sugar, coriander and turmeric. 4. Bring to a boil and add the vegetables. 5. Cook for 8 minutes. 6. Add salt and pepper to taste. 7. Chill and serve. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
