1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan over a moderate heat and fry the onion for a couple of minutes. 2. Add the chili and cook for a couple of minutes, stirring continuously, until the onion begins to turn golden brown. 3. Stir in the spices and fry for a further minute, before adding the beans. Reduce the heat and cook for 3 minutes. 4. Taste and season with salt, if necessary.
