1. Steep garlic in olive oil at least 1/2 hour. 2. Preheat oven to 400°F. 3. Wash and stem tomatoes and cut them in half. 4. Put tomatoes in a shallow baking dish, pour olive oil and garlic over and toss lightly. Bake 10 minutes. 5. Cut feta cheese into 1/2 inch chunks. 6. Place Feta and basil in serving dish. 7. Pour tomato mixture over chunks of cheese and slivered basil. 8. Stir gently. 9. Serve with bread to mop up juices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
