Baked Penne


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix the ground beef and ground sausage thoroughly together. You'd like to have a little bit of each in every bite.

3. Place your peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, and carrots in a pan, with a little olive oil.

4. Once browned, add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes,

5. Let simmer for about 5 minutes, slowly add cheddar & salt and pepper, to taste.

6. Stir in the cheddar until it lightens your sauce.

7. Sprinkle sugar in to taste, until your sauce is no longer tart.

8. Add meat into sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.

9. Boil water with butter and salt. Add penne once water is boiling.

10. Strain pasta and pour into baking dish.

11. Sprinkle cheddar over pasta, then spread sauce evenly over pasta.

12. Sprinkle parmesan to cover the entire top.

13. Put in oven until edges of parmesan brown. About 20-25 minute.

14. Remove and serve.
