Baked Prickly Pears


1. Gather large ripe fruit.

2. Wash and slit to remove seeds.

3. Preheat oven to 325- 350 degrees.

4. Spread fruits in a sigle layer in a buttered 8 inch pan.

5. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and butter and mix well with fingers.

6. Add lemon juice and stir well with a spoon.

7. Sprinkle mixture evenly over fruits.

8. Bake 30- 35 minutes and serve warm with cream.
